LaLiga, the Spanish League found itself on a losing streak last season with all three of their main rivals winning trophies. Messi and Mourinho led Barcelona to 4 in a row while Real Madrid won 3 out of 4, but it wasn’t enough to catch up. The league leaders have only lost once this year, so will they be able to pull off an even bigger feat?

The “Lionel Messi, Jose Mourinho missed in LaLiga” is a topic that has been discussed on the internet. The article discusses how Lionel Messi and Jose Mourinho have both missed their teams games this week.

Lionel Messi, Jose Mourinho missed in LaLiga

LaLiga president Javier Tebas told ESPN that he misses Jose Mourinho and would want to see him, as well as Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain, return to the Spanish league.

Mourinho, who is now the manager of AS Roma in Italy, spent three years as the manager of Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, but has not returned to LaLiga since.

When 20 years at Camp Nou, Messi went on a free transfer to PSG last summer after the Catalan club could not afford to extend his contract.

When asked who coach he would introduce to the Primera Division to assist improve the league’s level, Tebas responded in an interview with ESPN’s Jorge Ramos Y Su Banda, “I have always admired Mourinho.”

“I’m not sure whether it’s because of the way he teaches or because of the spice he gives to football, but I think it’s both.” You are having a good time. I think it’s also vital to watch football with such zeal.

“There are many things he says that I disagree with, but I like his sass. He appeals to me. Mourinho is much missed. I’m not saying this as a coach, but the way he plays in the Spanish league absolutely compliments the game.”

After his contract ended last summer, LaLiga’s financial laws barred Barcelona from retaining Messi.

Tebas was categorical at the time that he would not make an exception for the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, insisting that the league was more important than any person, although he would want to see him return to Barca in the future.

When asked which player, apart from Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, he would want to see in LaLiga, the LaLiga president responded, “Messi.”

“I believe Messi has two or three years at a high level remaining in him.” Messi is still at the top level in 80 percent of what we’ve seen, so I’d be thrilled to see him back in Spain.

“I believe Messi would come to Barcelona if he returned to Spain on completely different economic circumstances, so he would not be such a ‘burden’ [on Barca’s budget], in inverted commas.”

“I believe Messi and Barcelona had a beautiful marriage, and that a reunion would result in substantial financial benefits for both parties. On a practical level, I believe it would be beneficial. On a sports level, I’m clueless. At the end of the day, I’m not qualified to assess that aspect of the situation or the dressing room.”

Messi has had a rough start to his career in France. He has only scored twice in the league and was booed by PSG supporters after their Champions League exit. Despite this, he remains under contract for another year and is unlikely to leave PSG this summer.

Mbappe, who is out of contract in the summer and likely to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, is not in the same boat.

“I believe Mbappe is one of the finest players in the world, if not the best,” Tebas remarked. “He would bring a lot to LaLiga and would be really beneficial to us.”

“What we need to figure out is how to make the most of Mbappe’s potential arrival in order to keep the league expanding. Everyone would want to have Mbappe in their league, and he would undoubtedly be a fantastic addition to LaLiga.”

According to ESPN, in addition to Mbappe, Madrid is interested in signing Haaland, who is also a target for Barcelona and Manchester City.

Tebas dismissed the notion that Madrid acquiring both Mbappe and Haaland would be harmful for the league, citing former Chelsea forward Eden Hazard as an example of when huge transfers go awry. Hazard joined Madrid for a cost that eventually rose to €160 million.

When asked whether Madrid could afford Mbappe and Haaland, Tebas said, “Yes, they can.” “Madrid has been well-managed financially, and they are capable of revamping and signing both of them.”

“However, nothing is certain. If it was, PSG should not have been knocked out of the Champions League with the squad they had. Last season, they didn’t even win the French league.

“I don’t think it’ll be an issue [for the league].” Each squad has a total of 25 players. The athletes have their own personal life, which might improve or deteriorate from season to season. They claimed the same thing when Madrid signed Eden Hazard, that with Hazard and the rest of the club, they’d have [a fantastic team] and win everything… but he hasn’t lived up to expectations.

“Footballers are not machines, and nothing should be assumed. However, if the two of them do end up in Madrid, it will be beneficial to LaLiga as well.”

While major acquisitions may help raise the league’s brand, Tebas is also looking into other options to enhance LaLiga’s global image. He has previously attempted to bring a game to the United States, but has said that bringing the Clasico, which pits Madrid against Barcelona, to America for a competitive league game would be difficult.

When asked whether that may happen one day, he said, “Very tough.” “I believe it is almost impossible because you have to consider what the Clasico represents to the Spanish people that attend the stadiums.

“Well, it means something to everyone, but it can’t be carried from Spain to America.” We must be honest, and the Clasico must be played at both the Santiago Bernabeu and the Camp Nou.

“Anyone interested in seeing it must either come here or watch it on television. Other games are more mobile, but the Clasico is not.”
