Who is on the rise? Which rotations are going to change? What’s new in the NBA in terms of noteworthy injuries?
For all 30 clubs, here’s a look at the most fantasy-relevant news and observations from across the league:
Hawks of Atlanta
De’Andre Hunter has put up 19.0 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, 1.0 assists per game, and 1.0 steals per game over the last four games. Hunter is available in 89 percent of ESPN leagues, and in deeper formats, he should be rostered. The Hawks will play four games next week.
Celtics of Boston
Robert Williams III is ranked No. 20 on ESPN’s Player Rater and is a key component of the Celtics’ success. Over the previous six games, the Time Lord has averaged 10 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, 1.3 steals per game, and 3.0 blocks per game, indicating that he will likely be off the boards by the third round next season.
The Brooklyn Nets are a professional basketball team based in
In the previous 11 games, Bruce Brown has averaged 14 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game in 31 minutes. Brown is available in 90% of ESPN leagues, but his fantasy relevance will likely fade after Ben Simmons makes his Nets debut. Another point to consider is that Brooklyn only has three games scheduled in each of the following two weeks.

Hornets of Charlotte
Over his past 12 games, P.J. Washington has averaged 12.4 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game, 2.0 assists per game, 1.0 steals per game, and 1.0 blocks per game. Gordon Hayward is not anticipated to return anytime soon, thus Washington is still available in 34.3 percent of ESPN leagues. Washington doesn’t score a lot of points, but his ability to deliver full stat lines to fantasy managers makes him worth considering.
Bulls of Chicago
Because the Bulls’ backcourt is so thin, Coby White has flourished as a streamer. In fact, over his previous 12 games, he’s averaging 15.5 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, and 4.0 assists per game in 31 minutes. In 79 percent of ESPN leagues, the former lottery pick is still available, and he ranks just inside the top-150 in category formats this year.
Cavaliers of Cleveland
Darius Garland joined LeBron James as the only Cavaliers players to average 25 points and 10 assists in a five-game period on Tuesday night. His performance is peaking at the ideal moment for fantasy managers hoping to secure a postseason berth. Garland has averaged 21.0 points per game, 8.2 assists per game, 2.6 three-pointers per game, and 1.2 steals per game this season, while shooting 48.0 percent from the field and 91.0 percent from the free throw line.
Dallas Mavericks are a professional basketball team based in Dallas, Texas
Over his previous six games, Dorian Finney-Smith (available in 74.8 percent of ESPN leagues) has averaged 16.0 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 56 percent from the field. The 28-year-10.6 old’s PPG, 1.9 APG, and 1.1 SPG are all career highs this season.
Nuggets of Denver
Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, and Elgin Baylor are the only players other than Nikola Jokic to average 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in a three-game stretch. It’s impressive company for the veteran center, who is a strong contender for the Most Valuable Player Award this season.
The Pistons are a basketball team based in Detroit, Michigan
Isaiah Stewart will be assessed in a week after scans found a bone bruise in his right knee on Tuesday. Marvin Bagley III (available in 56 percent of ESPN leagues) is now accessible to watch. He’s averaging 16.0 points per game, 8.0 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game, and 1.0 steals per game in 28.5 minutes over the previous three games.
Warriors of Golden State
Only a few rookies have been as outstanding after the All-Star Break as Jonathan Kuminga. Over the previous three games, he has averaging 18.3 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game in 28 minutes per game. While Draymond Green is gone, Kuminga is still available in 90.6 percent of ESPN leagues and continues to be a very effective streamer. James Wiseman (knee) has been allowed to participate in two G-League games this week. He’ll be back by the end of March, according to his schedule.
The Houston Rockets are a professional basketball team based in
Because of his 40 percent field goal percentage and proclivity for turnovers, Kevin Porter Jr. may be avoided by certain fantasy managers. Porter, on the other hand, has averaged 16 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, 6.1 assists per game, and 1.1 steals per game over his previous ten games. In 34.3 percent of ESPN leagues, he is available.
The Indiana Pacers are a basketball team based in Indiana
Jalen Smith has averaged 13.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game over the previous ten games. It’s also worth noting that Isaiah Jackson averaged 3.7 fouls per game during that time, reducing his playing time. In 91 percent of ESPN leagues, Smith is available. It could be a good idea to pick him up.
The Los Angeles Clippers are a professional basketball team based
If you want points and triples in a deeper format, go no further than Luke Kennard (available in 95.4 percent of ESPN leagues). He has averaging 12.4 points per game and 3.4 three-pointers in his previous nine outings. Kawhi Leonard is rumored to have completed a strenuous pregame exercise on Tuesday, but it remains unclear if he will return this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers are a professional basketball team based in Los
Malik Monk, who is available in 83 percent of ESPN leagues, has been impressive over the previous five games, averaging 15.6 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, 3.6 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game in 35 minutes. He’s also hit 14 triples in that time, and with the Lakers having another four-game week coming up next week, he should be included to lineups.
Grizzlies of Memphis
The Grizzlies have blown away their opponents in recent games, reducing the fantasy ceiling for some of their finest players. The Grizzlies have now won 12 games by a margin of 20 points or more this season, second only to the Suns (13) and Jazz (13) in the NBA. For the first time since the 2014-2015 season, the Grizzlies have won 45 games or more.
Heat of Miami
Lowry has struggled since returning from a four-game absence resulting from personal reasons. However, on Wednesday night against the Suns, he recorded his 16th game this season with 10 or more assists, which is the most since Dwyane Wade reached that mark in the 2008-2009 campaign. The Heat of Miami are 10-5 this season with at least 10 assists from Lowry.
The Milwaukee Bucks are a professional basketball team based in
Giannis Antetokounmpo produced his 19th 40-point, 10-rebound game of his career against the Hawks on Wednesday night. He’s just the second player in Bucks history to have numerous such games. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has a total of 53 of these contests. On Saturday, Antetokounmpo’s great momentum should continue against the faltering Warriors.
Minnesota Timberwolves are a professional hockey team based in Minnesota
D’Angelo Russell didn’t have a very impressive stat line against the Thunder on Wednesday night. Despite this, he did not injure his hamstring more. Russell has hit at least two triples in each of the last 12 games. He’s also become more of a distributor, with 27 assists in his previous two outings.
Pelicans of New Orleans
Herbert Jones can be counted on to produce across the board in fantasy football. In 30 minutes, he has averaged 10.0 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 2.2 APG, 2.0 SPG, and 1.0 BPG in his previous five games. Jones is a strong fit for deeper formats because of this.
Knicks of New York
Immanuel Quickley has been outstanding throughout the last eight games. The former first-round pick has averaged 16 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.4 assists per game, and 1.0 steals per game. Could this lead Tom Thibodeau to start Quickley over Alec Burks as the Knicks’ starting point guard? That is yet to be seen, but it is a possibility. In 94.5 percent of ESPN leagues, Quickley is available.
Thunder in Oklahoma City
During the last four games, Aleksej Pokusevski has averaged 12 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 26.4 minutes per game. It’s an excellent opportunity to get Pokusevski, particularly in deeper formats, since he’s available in 94 percent of ESPN leagues. He’ll almost certainly be used by the Thunder for the rest of the season, since the Thunder are shorthanded with Luguentz Dort (shoulder) sidelined.
Orlando Magic is a professional basketball team based in
After a strong start to the season, Mo Bamba’s minutes and statistical output have dwindled in the 29 games he’s appeared in in 2022; he’s averaging 10 points and 7.3 rebounds in 23.3 minutes per game. Wendell Carter Jr., on the other hand, has had a great start to 2022, averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. In 14% of ESPN leagues, Carter is still available.
The 76ers are a basketball team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
With Danny Green out for a week due to a finger laceration, Georges Niang (available in 98.4 percent of ESPN leagues) has risen to the top of the streaming rankings. In 98.4 percent of ESPN leagues, he’s available. Niang has a 40-minute scoring average of 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
The Phoenix Suns are a professional basketball team based in
In his past four games, Cameron Payne has three double-doubles. In addition, after returning from injury, he has 54 assists in five games. Despite this, Payne is still available in 76% of ESPN leagues. Because Chris Paul will be sidelined for the rest of the fantasy season, Payne will receive as much playing time as possible.
The Portland Trail Blazers are a professional basketball team based in Portland,
Put down your work and go get Anfernee Simons. Because Damian Lillard is unlikely to return this season, Simons is the best fantasy option for the Trail Blazers. Simons has averaged 25.4 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game, and 5.1 assists per game in 34.3 minutes over the last ten games. His quad injury seems to be minor, and he’s still available in 39% of ESPN leagues.
Sacramento Kings are a professional basketball team based in
De’Aaron Fox has been outstanding over the previous two months. In fact, the last time he scored fewer than 20 points was on Jan. 16 of this year. Since then, he’s averaging 6.6 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 51.7 percent from the field with a usage rate of 29 percent.
Spurs of San Antonio
It’s surprising that Devin Vassell isn’t rostered in more leagues, particularly deep ones, given his propensity to produce across the board in every statistical area. He’s available in 87 percent of ESPN leagues and has averaged 12.6 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game, 1.4 steals per game, and 0.6 blocks per game in 29.6 minutes per game over the previous 14 games.
Raptors of Toronto
After a five-game hiatus, fantasy managers must have been relieved to learn that Fred VanVleet (21.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 6.8 APG this season) would return to the lineup against the Spurs. However, the news out of Toronto isn’t all rosy; Gary Trent Jr. is still in a rut. Trent is shooting 28.6 percent from the field this month.
Utah Jazz
Bojan Bogdanovic has averaged 28 points, 7.5 3-pointers, and 3.5 assists in his previous two games. He is currently available in 38.6% of ESPN leagues. Bogdanovic has 19 triples in his previous three games, the most by any Jazz player in that time, and the Jazz will play four games in each of the next two weeks, making him a great acquisition in leagues where he’s available.
Wizards of Washington
Kristaps Porzingis has averaging 22.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in two games since being dealt from the Mavericks to the Wizards. Kyle Kuzma benefits from Porzingis’ presence because it adds another offensive danger for his opponents to deal with anytime they share floor time.
