The NFL trade deadline is in three weeks, and the Kansas City Chiefs have an opportunity to make two trades that can help them next season. Expert analysis of how the Chiefs must approach their potential deals with teams like Miami Dolphins or Arizona Cardinals.
The “chiefs trade rumors” is a general topic that has been popularized by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs must make 2 trades before the 2021 NFL Trade Deadline, because they have a lot of cap space to work with.
This season, the Kansas City Chiefs have been the most disappointing club in the NFL. Before the NFL trade deadline, the Chiefs should be active, but what precisely does this club require?
The Chiefs clearly need to bolster their roster before the November 2nd trade deadline. Throughout the season, the Chiefs’ roster has been riddled with deficiencies. The Chiefs’ primary concerns have been their offensive line, lack of pass rushers, and unreliable receiving options outside of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. If the Chiefs want to make agreements work with the money they have, they’ll have to be creative, lowering wages and rearranging contracts.
Let’s take a look at who the Chiefs should pursue before the deadline next week.
Emmanuel Ogbah is a defensive end.
Ogbah, who is presently with the Miami Dolphins, was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs till 2019. Miami is now one of the league’s weakest teams, and with Ogbah’s contract expiring this year, they may want to sell him. For the Dolphins, he’s been great. Last season, Ogbah had a 10-sack season and has continued to impress this year. Obgah is the ideal match for the Chiefs, as he fills a positional need at defensive end and already has experience in defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s system.
It’s also possible that the Chiefs may make a greater splash in Miami. Xavien Howard might be on the move, and Kansas City could be interested in acquiring him.
Marvin Jones is a wide receiver.
The Chiefs’ receiving corps has been below average outside of Hill and Kelce. Kansas City can only benefit from having perhaps the best quarterback in the NFL if he lacks credible supplementary weapons.
Jones plays wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars and is a great player. In Jacksonville, he shown that he can be a good second or third target in the passing game. He has 978 yards with the Lions in 2020 and 343 yards this season. Jones has a chance to have a 1,000-yard season if he has a quarterback like Mahomes throwing to him.
Fortunately for Kansas City, his deal matches the wage structure of the organization.

The Chiefs have the ability to turn things around at any time. They aren’t as good as they have been in previous years, but with Mahomes at quarterback, anything is possible. The Chiefs can be Super Bowl contenders again if they can acquire certain components before the deadline.
On both sides of the ball, they’ll aim to recruit impact players, mostly linemen and some skill players. For the Chiefs, there are a slew of viable trade options. Big names aren’t usually traded during the offseason, but there are still some elements that may help enhance this Chiefs club, particularly on defense.
Brett Veach, the general manager, is known for being a risky trader, so don’t anticipate anything different this time. The Chiefs’ performance over the next week will be intriguing to watch. Kansas City’s Super Bowl chances are the most precarious of any club with serious Super Bowl hopes.
The “Mahomes golf tournament” is a professional golf tournament that was held in 2018. Mahomes won the event and it was one of his last few events before he had to retire from professional golf. The Chiefs must make 2 trades before the 2021 NFL Trade Deadline if they want to win the Super Bowl next year. Reference: mahomes golf tournament.
